What is Z-Cloud

Z-Wave is the international wireless standard for home automation. Z-Cloud is a central controller for Z-Wave based home automation networks and allows to setup, manage and control Z-Wave devices.

Z-Cloud runs on a server located in a data centre (how does this work...). In your home you will therefore only need a small Z-Wave transceiver hardware and a connector software to connect the software running on the Z-Cloud server with your wireless devices. To run your wireless Z-Wave network using Z-Cloud do the following steps:

1. Register here at the Z-Wave.Me web site.
2. Purchase all the Z-Wave hardware you need. Read more on where you can buy Z-Wave products.
3. Download and install the Z-Connector software on your PC, Internet router or ADSL box.
4. Manage your Z-Wave network using the Z-Cloud User interface.
